In other news, I’ve decided to no longer review other authors’ books on my site. While I love 99% of the authors I’ve worked with, there were a few recently who did not receive constructive criticism well at all, and I don’t have the energy to deal with that kind of behavior from anyone other than my children. It’s also true that I’m focusing more on my own author career at this point, and I don’t really have enough time to commit to continuing these reviews.
So, if any of you wish to leave my newsletter because you were only here for indie book recommendations, I totally understand. I also want to thank the 100+ authors I’ve worked with who were wonderful, and I will keep your reviews up—here and elsewhere—so you don’t lose those. I’ll also continue to support indie authors all over social media as much as I can!
Moving forward, I’ll keep this newsletter focused on my book news, announcements, cover reveals, and that kind of thing. I will also be doing REALLY FUN, monthly, exclusive, behind-the-scenes art reveals for The Alt-World Chronciles. (…There’s gotta be something better to call these. HELP ME come up with a name! Inside the Order Art? Sanctuary Snippets? Order Art Dispatches? All suggestions welcome!)
